In response to increasing corporate exposure to global water supply threats and investment community interest in water-related issues, Ceres has released a new report and tool that investors and companies can use as a roadmap to enhanced water risk management.
The Ceres Aqua Gauge™ is an assessment framework that enables financial institutions to evaluate and benchmark companies on their management of water-related risks and opportunities. The tool and associated report provide:
- An Excel-based tool to evaluate corporate water performance
- Detailed definitions of leading practice across a range of water management areas
- Case studies & company examples
- Guidance on identifying sectors & geographies more vulnerable to water risks
The Aqua Gauge was developed by Ceres, the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, Irbaris and the IRRC Institute through extensive analysis and engagement with over 50 investors, leading companies and NGOs.
The webinar will introduce the Ceres Aqua Gauge, and will feature perspectives from Jon Lukomnik, Executive Director of the Investor Responsibility Research Center Institute (IRRC), Greg Koch, Director of Global Water Stewardship at Coca-Cola, and report co-author Brooke Barton, Senior Manager of Water Programs at Ceres.
