Golden Peacock Nomination Date Draws Near

Golden Peacock Awards, instituted by the Institute of Directors in 1992, are now regarded by many as holy grail of Corporate Excellence worldwide.

The Golden Peacock Awards Secretariat receives over 1,000 entries per year for various awards, from over 25 countries worldwide. IoD sees the Golden Peacock Award as a powerful way to build a company’s brand.

Award winners are eligible to use the GP Awards logo on all printed and promotional materials for the next one year, which  is evidence to all its customers and suppliers the highest accolade acclaimed by the organisation. 

Currently the Golden Peacock Awards Secretariat is inviting applications for the following Institutional awards for the year 2012 from Corporates, SMEs, Public & Private Ent and Govt Establishments:

Golden Peacock NATIONAL Awards (Organizations operating in India):

  1. Golden Peacock Award for Excellence in Corporate Governance Award (GPAECG)
  2. Golden Peacock Award for Sustainability (GPAS)
  3. Golden Peacock Award for Climate Security (GPACS)
  4. Golden Peacock Innovation Management Award ( GPIMA)

Golden Peacock GLOBAL Awards (Organizations operating globally):

  1. Golden Peacock Global Award for Excellence in Corporate Governance (GPGAECG)
  2. Golden Peacock Global Award for Sustainability ( GPGAS)

The last date for submission of completed applications for the above awards is  5th September 2012.The application form cum guidelines can be downloaded directly from .If unable to download, please send an email for the details. 

This year’s above Golden Peacock Awards (under various sectors and categories to create intra-sector competitiveness) will be presented at Lords, during the London Global Convention, being held on 10-12 October 2012.

The theme of the Convention is “Corporate Governance Perspectives & Sustainability Challenges.” Confirmed speakers so far include Hon Dr M Veerappa Moily, Union Minister for Corporate Affairs and Power, Govt of India, Rt Hon Baroness Verma, Lords Minister for British Government, Dr Ola Ullsten, former Prime Minister of Swden, Dr Mohan Kaul, Co-Chairman, Commonwealth Business Council, Mervyn E King SC, Chairman of the King Committee on Corporate Governance in South Africa, Lord Meghna Desai, Leading Economist Professor Lord Tony Giddens, London School of Economics, and many more.

This event is being organized in association with Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, Govt of India and in partnership with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) , Europe India Chamber of Commerce, Brussels, The British-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and a number of other national and international organizations.
